  8. Steel. In this week's edition of the comic series, SUPERMAN --
  9. a.k.a. mild-mannered Clark Kent -- proposes to LOIS LANE. But
  10. trouble looms. Superman felt free to marry since he'd lost his
  11. superstrength in a Kryptonite mishap, but it's been restored.
  12. Says the hero's editor: "Here's a man who stands for truth,
  13. justice and the American way, and he's kept this secret from
  14. her." And try explaining those clothes left in phone booths.
